We’re always giving helpful advice on how to appeal to everyday customers via Facebook, but as a Business to Business (B2B) company, you may find that some of the methods don’t apply in the same way.

So here, take a look at some of the ways you can use Facebook marketing tactics specifically to reach B2B customers!

1. Create shareable content that other businesses might like to feature too.

Creating fun and entertaining content are great for regular audiences, but you can also create great content for businesses to share too!

Try to create images, videos and posts that provide value, whether it’s a cool how-to or a selection of useful industry tips.

These can be enjoyed (and shared) by the businesses and industry pros who may go on to become your customers as they see you illustrating your expertise.

2. ‘Like’ other businesses from your page, and don’t be afraid to talk to them.

As a page on Facebook, you can ‘Like’ other businesses and brands. Choose brands that do what you do or work within your industry, as well as some that you may like to market to.

But to ensure you’re well and truly on their radar, don’t hesitate to say hello.

A quick wall post can be enough to introduce yourself, say what you do and get to know the people behind the business.

Not only will this make businesses aware of what your brand is offering, but it will also show you’re friendly and personable as a business owner.

3. Host an online event that other businesses (or industry professionals) can take part in.

Online events, such as webinars, can be a great way to network and discover other businesses in your industry without even leaving your home or office.

The more people attend, the more people you’ll get to know who may be interested in buying your products.  Just create an ‘Event’ using Facebook!

4. Offer businesses something they can use.

To show you’re marketing towards business customers rather than the general public, offer something that businesses will have an interest in and can use – something you could also promote through Facebook.

This could be a free eBook or a helpful newsletter that relates to your industry. This can drive engagements and sign-ups from people who could then be converted into customers.

5. Make the most of Facebook advertising.

With Facebook ads, you can use targeting options to ensure you’re reaching small business owners and people with a defined interest in your industry or products. This makes your ad even more likely to be successful as it’s reaching the people who are most likely to make a purchase or employ your services.

Armed with these helpful tactics, you’ll find it easier than ever to use Facebook marketing to your advantage and reach B2B prospects.
