Having worked with over a 1000 clients, we can say that our services are popular and proven. But sometimes we get questions from clients asking ‘How are you better than your competitors?’ or ‘How do you manage the US clients being in India?’
So we decided to give you clear and transparent info about a few questions we’ve received. We understand that we may not be the ideal social media agency for everyone. So hopefully, this info will help you make the right choice.
At Socinova, we’re fully committed to help business owners with our services and we hold honesty and trust above everything else. No matter the case, we’re here to provide most value to your business.
We are not a fully U.S./Europe based company.
We are located in Pune, India. This means we’re not a fully U.S. or Europe based agency; and by working with us, you’re ‘outsourcing’ social media management.
We are in different time zones.
As we’re located in India, we both are in different time zones. That means our replies to you may come in your nightime. But that in no way hampers our services. As the work is done over the internet and well in advance, we never miss a deadline.
And besides, isn’t it a plus point that we work for you while you sleep? This doubles your business productivity.
We are unable to meet in person and scheduled calls may be during your early mornings or late evenings.
As you may be located in a different country, we’re unable to meet in person. But video calls on Skype/WhatsApp can always be made!
Plus, due to the time zone differences, sometimes we may have to schedule a call that is 7 am or 8 pm for you. We ourselves are always ready to work early in the morning or late night to have a convenient call time for both of us.
We may not know your local language or slang.
As we’re not a local resident of your city, we may not know the local slang or a local language other than English.
Will this affect the content we create? Not much, as we research the internet a lot to match our content to your local area. But yes, it can never be as personalised as having a local social media manager.
English is our second language.
Though we’re all fully trained and educated in English, it is still our second language. We have an extensive editing process and use all the advanced grammar tools but once in a while, a little grammar error does happen. But that only proves we’re human.
We are an agency run by millennials.
Vedarth started Socinova in 2014 when he was 19. Plus almost everyone here is under 30. So you can expect a bit of youth and enthusiasm in our work and content. Where full maturity is expected (like this page), we provide it. But otherwise, we like to be cool.
We are a process driven company.
We follow standard processes. To be able to provide such a labour intensive service starting at just $99, we had to create a certain level of standardisation in our work. So we’re unable to provide 100% custom service.
For example, we use Canva to create social media graphics and we have a certain style. We can’t change it everytime for every client or we won’t be able to deliver this service with such speed, efficiency and affordability. This doesn’t mean that we won’t customise our services. A degree of customisation is of course there. Just, we can’t change everything in our base packages.
Our service isn't ideal for certain companies.
We don’t claim that our services are ideal for every company. They are mostly suited to startups or small/medium scale businesses with established customer base. We believe that we may not be the ideal agency for:
- Companies from highly regulated industries like defense, pharmaceuticals or petroleum
- Goverment agencies
- Famous celebrities
- Companies that focus on the hyperlocal market
We use online digital marketing tools.
We are realists and generally use simple tools that get the job done. Hence, as an example, instead of using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, we use Canva for graphic design. Does this limit our graphic design? Yes, a bit. But does this provide benefits? Quite a lot! Online tools are fast, stored on cloud and can be easily learned. So even you can use them with us!

We’ll always strive to improve our work and by accepting that we can’t take on every client, we wish to focus more on those we can.
